I was looking through the VI Daily News online and read about this 14 year-old murdered on St. Thomas. Even though I never met this kid, my heart sank because he didn't even come close to reaching a fulfilled life. I came home that night with a heavy heart and pleaded to the youths to stop the violence. I touched it with my flugelhorn and the track cries out to the youth. I hope that this song touches at least one person whether young or old to stop promoting violence in their own town.
