On July 4th 2006, I heard a senator's commercial talking about bringing back the disenchanted youth to the VI. Immediately, I blew a gasket because I've been hearing senators promising opportunities for the youth since my days in elementary school.

Pissed off, I jumped on my celly and called up the local radio station Isle 95 to vent. To my surprise, Rashidi "Rash" Clenance and the Big Phat Morning show crew took my concerns seriously and made my call the segment of the day. Inspired by the events that transpired that day and the love the VI public showed me, I produced and wrote this tune the day after I got back to Philly in one shot.
